Wow, are these from World of Warcraft? There amazing, very detailed. I wish i could make a detailed cosplay, but I can't even do a Sonic cosplay nevermind anything like this XD Anyway, awesome job on these, there amazing
Yes, all three costumes are from World of Warcraft Thank you ! But you know, a Sonic cosplay isn't that simple, because it's kinda hard to keep the proportions correct. Armor and stuff are the same, 50% of the work is on doing the parts to the right scale
I thought they were XD Your welcome ^_^ Yeah I'm trying to do the quills for his head but my first try the were too short then the second time there too long -_-'' I'm doing a third try though XD (third time lucky hopefully X3) I think armor would be pretty hard to do But I'll keep trying on my Sonic cosplay
The one on the left isn't a night elf druid, she's Ysera, the Dreamer, you can see her as a NPC in the game, she's the emerald dragonkin aspect, in it's "human" form. The one on the right is Nozdormu, the Timeless One, he's also a dragon aspect under his "human" form, and can also be found in the game as a NPC
Okay. Deity Dragons in their humanoid avatars, whatever said avatar they may be at the moment. Kind of like yahoo mail.... So what exactly are they representing themselves as? Eh, if I have to look it up so be it.
Thank you ! Yeah, that's one of the problems I need to fix for next time. I was in a kind of rush on the con morning and I didn't have time to put some makeup on the ears to unify the skin tone with mine. Once they were on my head, I totally forgot to do it since I couldn't see it anymore x)
Have you ever considered leather ears ^_^? It's what I used for mine..they are easy to do and stay up very well, and the best thing is veggy tanned leather is very close to most skin tones. if it doesn't match, you can dye it
Yeah I've seen the photos you sent in Note with your leather ears. Leather ears were an option considered for the group when we were studying how to do them, but we had no leather at that time so we did it in air drying clay and craft foam. The result is good, I guess, from the moment you unify them with your skin tone by putting some makeup on it. That's the thing I forgot to do on that day Plus, Nozdormu's ears are longer that the ones of a standard High/Blood elve. I was afraid that they would not stand still with only leather. (There's a metal wire hidden under the clay on my ears, since it is a clay that stays soft when it's dried, I can correct the "straightness" of the ear once it's fixed.
You would actually be surprised. The ears I have actually pretty long, but hidden for the most part for the wig. I made a pair of Nozdormu ears for a friend (who did not finish his costume) out of leather and they stood up fine and were light as a feather. The stiffness depends on the leather type and thickness. I used two oz leather, which really holds its shape, but isn't hard to work with. When you wet leather, its malleable, and can have the ridges of the ears shaped into it. I didn't do the tutorial, but I know Ayabi and she got me turned onto leather working
I've never ever had any pair of ears flop, but just like yours, you could put a wire in it if you wanted That would make it adjustable as the day goes by If you can't tell I love leather work.. its such a beautiful medium I'm a little bias
